Harmony House provides dormitory style, low-barrier housing for 128 working homeless in Houston. GSMA’s design focused on meeting budget constraints by utilizing simple materials and the use of color in creative and impactful ways. While located in the central business district, the residents of Harmony House are provided spectacular views of the downtown Houston skyline from their shared community spaces.  In addition to a place to sleep, Harmony House provides common cooking, living, and dining facilities for residents. In partnership with Harris County Health System, this facility includes a staffed medical clinic, which serves both residents and the surrounding community through free health services, weekly clinic events and community outreach programs.
